Start the new year with Mercury entering one of my favorite signs, the forward-thinking Aquarius, where thoughts and communication will be creative, unique, and innovative. Aquarius energy is trend-setting, effortlessly cool, and I would even say the embodiment of model off duty. You wonder where they shop, what music they’re listening to, and who is the next up-and-coming artist or industry leader – they’ll know. Mercury enters Aquarius from January 2-25, 2022, then we have our first Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn. Mercury stations direct on February 3rd, and comes back to Aquarius from February 14-March 9, 2022. So this transit is really asking us to be expansive and embody the gifts it’s here to teach us.

Mercury represents how we communicate, reason, and it governs our intellect. During this transit, we begin to think in a more independent way and start dreaming big in Aquarius. Our thoughts are unconventional and progressive. We’re able to tap into visionary ways of thinking. Our communication becomes inventive, opinionated, and can even be impatient. This is a time when creative thinking is at a peak. We’re open to possibility in the way we see things, how we talk to people, and our own self-awareness.

This is a great time to research, finish that book you’ve been meaning to read, or binge on your favorite podcast. Our brain is ripe, to process information to support us in how we communicate. Intellect is at an all-time high and ready for debate, open discussion, and learning new topics or going deeper into your personal favorites.
